Good Friday afternoon! The snow we are seeing today will come to an this afternoon and we are not expecting any accumulations. Temperatures are cooling way down and we are seeing temperatures about 30 degrees colder than yesterday. This afternoon and evening temperatures will be in the 30’s and 20’s. Overnight we will be in the teens, with single digit wind chills. The weekend snow storm continues to track south. Tazewell, Mercer and McDowell counties could see the northern end of the storm and see some snow. The chance for snow north of I-64 continues to be low. Cold temperatures continue this weekend with high temperatures in the 30’s and low temperatures in the teens and 20’s. Chilly temperatures and chances for snow continue through the end of next week. The best chance for the rest of the region to see accumulating snow will be on Tuesday.
