West Virginia Hangs on to Defeat Oklahoma 75-73

WOAY – West Virginia men’s basketball has now won two straight after holding off a comeback attempt to win at Oklahoma 75-73 on Monday night.

The Mountaineers have now won in Norman each of the last two seasons, completing a regular season sweep of the Sooners in 2017-18.

Lamont West led WVU with 17 points, many of them coming on key three-pointers in the first half. Esa Ahmad and Sagaba Konate each contributed 14 points.

West Virginia returns to Morgantown Saturday to host Oklahoma State, who they beat in Stillwater earlier this season.
