Good Friday morning! We have a few light isolated showers to start off our day. Morning lows are warm once again in the 60s. By this afternoon, we are back to where we usually sit for this time of the year in the upper-70s. Our dew points have cooled down just a little bit compared to the last couple of days. That is the only difference you'll notice that difference as you head outside. It will still be warm but not as humid. A cold front is slowly moving closer to us. The cold front will be passing late tonight. Expect heavy rain showers throughout the afternoon as it approaches.
A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for Nicholas County until late tonight. Some heavy downpours are likely inside of some of these storms. This could lead to creeks, streams, or rivers to rise rapidly and cause some localized flooding in surrounding areas. Be careful as you are out driving this afternoon. We have a trough swing through during tomorrow. This will lead to us having a 60% chance of isolated showers throughout the entire day.
Another cold front will move through the region on Sunday. We begin to dry out on Monday with only a 40% chance of rain. By Tuesday, our chance of rain has dropped completely and we begin to dry out and warm back up. highs will be in the mid-80s by Wednesday.
