Good Wednesday morning. Expect more scattered rain showers today. Today will be much like yesterday but we don't have those gusty winds around the area. Winds have remained calm this morning with temperatures in the 50s. Light rain showers are still hanging around the area. More will be on their way later this morning. We dry out late tonight and stay dry throughout some of our Thursday. We may actually be able to see a little bit of blue skies.
However, the dry weather is short lived. Thursday evening, a low pressure will stay to our south but shoot up rain showers and rain chances for the overnight hours Thursday into Friday. The farther south you go (Richlands, Bluefield) the more likely you will see a stray rain shower Thursday afternoon/evening.
We keep a slight chance for showers to still be lingering for Friday morning, drying out mostly for Friday afternoon. Then we can enjoy a pleasant weekend with no rain showers. Highs will slowly creep into the 70s for the start of next week.
