State Police Will Conduct A DUI Checkpoint In Raleigh County This Weekend


BEAVER, WV (WOAY) – The West Virginia State Police will conduct a sobriety checkpoint in Beaver this Friday.

The checkpoint will be along US. Rt. 19 approximately .1 miles south of the intersection of Airport Road in Beaver.  The checkpoint will be in operation from 7 pm until 1 am.

The purpose of the sobriety checkpoint is to deter impaired driving and educate the motoring public about the dangers and consequences of operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
