FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WOAY)- The Fayette County Child Development Center received a Head Start and Early Head Start grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
The Fayette County Child Development Center has received a $2,337,373 with the help of Representative Evan Jenkins.
Fayette County Child Development Center provides Head Start and Early Head Start programs at no cost to Fayette County families.
“Every child in West Virginia deserves the best education possible. I am proud to support Head Start, which empowers families and educates children from all walks of life. I have visited Head Start classes in my district and seen firsthand the wonderful work that teachers and staff are doing with students and parents alike. This significant grant will allow the Fayette County Child Development Center to change the lives of thousands of students, and I offer them my sincere congratulations on receiving this grant,” Rep. Jenkins said.
