Princeton, WV (WOAY) – The Princeton Rays beat the Bluefield Blue Jays in the final game of the East Division Championship. The Rays punch their ticket to the Appalachian League Championship Series. The Rays will face off against the Elizabethton Twins for the Championship Series. The Twins finished the regular season 39-27 and had the best record in the West Division coming into the playoffs. The Rays will be at home for game one on September 5th and the series will end in Elizabethton on the 6th or 7th.
