BECKLEY, WV – Thanksgiving is one of the busiest times of the year. Everyone is preparing for what their going to cook and where they are going to spend thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving is only a few days away. There is so much to do this time of year. One big thing is shopping. Which many people are doing to prepare for that special meal called Thanksgiving dinner
“I buy turkey, ham and then we do all the fixens mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, corn, peas, sweet potato casserole, all that good stuff.” Said Shirley Underwood, Kroger Shopper
A lot of people shop for the best deals on turkeys and ham this time of year to save as much money as possible which is another thing to be thankful for!
” We have our honey suckle turkeys, we have them at 59 cents a pound right there and right now they are just absolutely literally flying off the shelves.” Said Mike Martin, Kroger Co-Manager
Some people plan to spend thanksgiving at home while others are Preparing to travel to be with family and friends to share what they are thankful for.
” We stay at home family comes to us.” Said Mrs. Underwood
” This year we’re going to spend thanksgiving with our friends in Rockville and Fredrick Maryland this is kind of something new usually we go after thanksgiving and spend time with our friends there and spend thanks day itself with family here.” Said Brandy Adkins, traveler
Whether traveling or making that thanksgiving meal for the family people are making their final prep for the thanksgiving holiday
” This is our Superbowl here to make the thanksgiving dinner a fruitful one.” Said Mr. Martin
