Planet Fitness Opens First Location in Bluefield, WV


BLUEFIELD, WV (WOAY) -Planet Fitness, celebrated the official grand opening of its first club in Bluefield with a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 31st.


The new 18,000 square foot club, located at 261 Mercer Mall Rd., opened May 17.


Representatives from the Greater Bluefield Chamber of Commerce and government officials attended the grand opening event. New members can currently join the Bluefield location for $1 down and $10 a month until June 27 when they sign up at the club or online at The club is open from Monday at 12:00 am through Friday at 10:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm.
