RALEIGH CO., WV (WOAY) – Multiple law enforcement agencies continue to search for Randolph “Randy” Stump today. Investigators say the 43-year-old was involved in a shooting Wednesday that started on Harper Road then moved on to Sweeneysburg Road in Raleigh County.
According to arrest reports, this is not Stump’s first brush with the law.
In 1997, he was found guilty of second degree murder and spent some time in prison. A picture of a parole certificate posted on Stump’s Facebook page shows he was paroled in July, 2016, apparently for another arrest.
According to his Facebook page, he lives in Coal City and is originally from Maryland. He has one son.
State police say they expect him to be armed and poses a very serious threat to anyone who comes across him.
