Missing girl could be headed to West Virginia


CHARLESTON, WV (STORY BY:WCHS)- Kanawha County Sheriff Deputies said a teenage that had been in custody of West Virginia Child Protective Services is missing.

Lachaela Putnick, 14-years-old, has been in CPS custody, but was temporarily placed with a foster family in Wyoming.


On August 7, she left the family while in Yellowstone National Park. She has not made contact with family or authorities since then.

Putnick has ties to North Charleston WV, Florida, Wyoming, Montana, and Colorado.


Shay has brown hair, brown eyes, is 5’4″ tall and weighs approximately 130 pounds.
