Marshall University Awarded Diabetes Research Grant

HUNTINGTON, WV (WOAY)- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has awarded Marshall University $440,405 for diabetes, endocrinology, and metabolic research.

 

The funding will help aid research in the identification of diabetes susceptibility genes through integrated functional genomics analysis of gene-diet interaction.

 

 

The funding was successful with the help of Senator Shelly Moore-Capito and Senator Joe Manchin.
