Man arrested in Greenbrier County after an outstanding federal warrant for distribution of Oxymorphone.


GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (WOAY)-  The Greenbrier Valley Drug and Violent Crime Task Force, along with members of the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Department, arrested a twenty eight year old male subject from the Detroit, Michigan area, identified as D’Andre Lee Mathis, in Fort Springs, WV.


Mathis was indicted by the Greenbrier Valley Drug and Violent Crime Task Force in January of 2018 through the Southern District of West Virginia Federal Court, and had an outstanding Federal Warrant for multiple counts of Distribution of Oxymorphone.


D’Andre Mathis was charged on this date for Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Schedule II Controlled Narcotic Substance (Oxymorphone) after he was discovered to be in possession of a quantity of Oxymorphone tablets, a large quantity of U.S. Currency, and a stolen handgun. Mathis was arraigned before a Greenbrier County Magistrate and was incarcerated in the Southern Regional Jail on a twenty five thousand ($25,000.00) dollar cash only bond.
