BECKLEY, WV (WOAY)- United Way of Southern West Virginia received $20,000 thanks to a generous $10,000 donation from L&S Toyota matched by the Toyota Dealer Match Program.

This nationwide program supports more than 1200 Toyota/Scion dealers. Since 1991, Toyota has contributed more than $500 million to non-profit organizations. Toyota believes in putting people first and in serving the communities where they do business.

“We are so grateful that Shawn Ball sees our organization as an important part of this community and that he is willing to support our valuable work here at United Way of Southern West Virginia” says Michelle Rotellini, Executive Director. “We will continue to make a difference together, and hopefully L&S Toyota’s generosity will inspire others along the way.”

This donation is important to United Way of Southern WV who currently serves seven southern WV counties and has just kicked off their 2018 campaign goal of $860,000. “Raising $860,000 in southern West Virginia has been a challenge, but having great community business leaders like L&S Toyota certainly gives us confidence in the giving power of the people in our region who care and are willing to do big things to help those we serve”, says Michelle Rotellini, Executive Director with the United Way.
