Kanawha library looking for new director

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) – The Kanawha County Public Library is looking for a new leader.

The library system’s board is accepting applications for a new director.

The county’s current top administrator, Riti Grover, is leaving the post on Dec. 13. Library officials said Grover submitted her resignation in September for personal reasons and to look for other opportunities after a little more than a year in the position.

The library board is looking for a new director with a master’s degree in library science, at least eight years’ experience in a library and at least five years in library management.
