Holly Brehm Signs With Ohio

New Richmond, WV (WOAY) – Wyoming East senior Holly Brehm signed a letter of intent Wednesday to play softball at Ohio.

Brehm, who is considering physical therapy for her major, is a three-time first-team Class AA All-State selection, and a two-time WOAY Softball Player of the Year. She has helped lead the Lady Warriors to the state tournament each of the past two seasons.

Brehm says signing with the Bobcats now gives her time to focus on her senior season with the Lady Warriors, as they seek a third straight regional title. Next year, she’ll join an Ohio program that won the MAC Tournament and advanced to the championship round of NCAA Regionals in 2018, and will be playing its first season in 2019 under new head coach Kenzie Roark. Brehm says it has been a smooth transition getting to know Roark after building a relationship with Jodi Hermanek, who went to Pitt in the offseason.

She is one of several Wyoming East seniors who will be signing to continue their athletic careers in college in the next few days.
