Greenbrier PGA Tour Event Receives Name Change

WOAY – The Greenbrier announced Tuesday that the name for its annual PGA Tour event has been officially changed to A Military Tribute at the Greenbrier.

Veterans and active military will receive free admission for the week, along with a complimentary lunch on Tuesday, July 3rd, which will be designated Military Appreciation Day.

Other events are planned for the week of the tournament, some of which will be centered around the July 4th festivities. Two Pro-Ams are scheduled for July 5th, one on the Old White TPC, and one on the resort’s Snead course.

Several golfers, including major champions Bubba Watson, Angel Cabrera, John Daly, and Jim Furyk are confirmed to appear in the 2018 tournament. More names will be announced in the coming days.
