GAULEY BRIDGE, WV (WOAY) – A Fayette County woman is in jail for punching a man and beating him up after a verbal argument.
According to a criminal complaint, a Fayette County Deputy was dispatched to a home for a domestic situation. When the deputy made contact with the suspect, Holly Lykins, he could smell a strong odor of alcohol other. The deputy observed the man on the bed with several scratches to his face, nose, and arm. There was also hair on the bed where Lykins had pulled it from the victims head.
When the deputy asked the victim what had happened, he told the deputy that Lykins wanted to do sexual favors for meth with another man. From there, it became physical. Lykins punched him approximately seven times with a closed fist.
Lykins complained her wrist was broken once arrested, when EMS checked her out they told the deputy it was not broke.
Lykins is charged with domestic battery and is being held in the Southern Regional Jail under a 2,500 dollar bond.
