MONTGOMERY, WV (WOAY) – A Montgomery man is in custody for violating conditions of multiple felony charges. Sheriff Mike Fridley released the following information regarding this incident.
Eric Perez, 29 of Montgomery, was apprehended by officers Friday evening after a bench warrant was issued for his arrest by the Circuit Court of Fayette County. Perez was participating in the Fayette County Community Corrections program as a condition of his felony arrests for Delivery of a Controlled Substance-Heroin, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony and Entering Without Breaking. Perez had allegedly failed drug tests at the Day Report Center, which resulted in the issuance of the bench warrant. He was apprehended without incident by a deputy with the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department and officers with the Montgomery and Smithers Police Departments.
