Bluefield, WV (WOAY) – Check out highlights from Tuesday’s basketball doubleheader between Concord & Bluefield State!
The Big Blues men’s team established an early lead against the Mountain Lions, before Concord rallied to take a five-point halftime lead en route to the 84-68 win. Tommy Bolte led all scorers with 31 points, while Korey Williams had 14 points off the bench for Bluefield State.
The Lady Lions established momentum early in their 83-52 win against the Lady Blues. Andreanna Pool led Concord with 30 points, with Tyeisha Williams scoring 10 points off the bench for Bluefield State.
Both Bluefield State teams are on the road Friday at separate locations, while Concord hosts its first MEC doubleheader Saturday against Notre Dame College.
