Athens, WV (WOAY) – Last week, Concord basketball traveled to the Northern Panhandle, and while the Mountain Lions lost to both West Liberty & Wheeling Jesuit, head coaches Todd May & Kenny Osborne were encouraged by their teams’ play in Ohio County.
This weekend, the Hilltoppers and Cardinals both come to Athens, with Concord entering these matchups with plenty of confidence.
Last week, the Mountain Lion men beat both Glenville State and West Virginia Wesleyan, while the Lady Lions went 1-1 against those two and also beat Bluefield State.
Following this weekend, Concord will have one more home doubleheader on February 23rd against Charleston.
