Concord Men’s Basketball Player Tommy Bolte named to Brevo Francis Award Watch List


Athens, WV (WOAY) – Concord Men’s Basketball junior guard Tommy Bolte was recently named to the Bevo Francis Award Watch List. The award is given to the best player in the nation that competes in NCAA Division II, Division III, NAIA, USCAA or NCCAA basketball. Wheeling Jesuit’s Haywood Highsmith and West Liberty’s Dan Monteroso have also been named to the watch list which consists of 100 players.

Bolte is definitely a driving force for CU Men’s Basketball as he averages 32.2 points per game, 6.2 assists per game and is shooting 53.5 percent from the floor. So far, Bolte leads Division II in scoring.

The watch list will be reduced to 50 players on February 15th when the next watch list will be announced for the Bevo Francis Award.
