Concord Football Ready for 2018 Season

Athens, WV (WOAY) – With several weeks to go until the college football season, Concord is optimistic they can improve on the 2-9 record from the past two seasons.

Head coach Paul Price has already seen a positive change in the opening practices of 2018, and anticipates that will continue leading up to kickoff.

The Mountain Lions return several key players, including offensive lineman Derek Dressler and linebacker Zach Malone, who were both All-MEC Second Team selections last year.

Concord opens the season September 1 at West Virginia Wesleyan. Their first home game is September 6 against Charleston.
