CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) — Charleston police said a George Washington High School student has been arrested and charged with one felony count of making threats of terrorist acts.

Corey Michael Duff, 18, was arrested Friday morning, Police Chief Steve Cooper said. The charge stems from a video police said Duff posted on Snapchat.

The incident is unrelated to the first incident. On Wednesday, Kanawha County School made a robocall to parents after an alleged threat. Charleston police said Thursday that threat was unfounded, and no criminal charges would be filed. On Thursday night, however, Kanawha County Schools made a second robocall to parents, warning them about another threat against GW.

Cooper said Duff was under suspension for an unrelated matter. Duff is currently being transported to the Charleston Police Department for processing.

Meanwhile, officers are maintaining a presence at GW Friday morning as a precautionary measure. A robocall from Kanawha County Schools Friday morning said that every precaution was being taken.
