Charleston Civic Center Plans To Finish Construction By Fall

CHARLESTON, WV (WOAY)- Exciting news for Charleston as the Civic Center renovations are scheduled to finish by fall of 2018.

 

City officials in Charleston say a two year project that cost $100 million in renovations is almost completed.

 

The new center will have seating for 1,500 people, an 8,000 square-foot reception area, eight new convention-sized meeting rooms and renovations to every square foot of inside space.

 

The exterior of the facility will have two new glass-paneled entrances, industrial exterior treatments and completely new flooring, wall treatment and ceiling covers.

 

Say goodbye to the old Civic Center and Hello to the new one!
