Beckley, WV (WOAY) – Woodrow Wilson senior Mikey Penn scored a career-high 27 points last week as the Flying Eagles won a Class AAA Region 3 co-final over Capital.
Penn, a two-year starter for Woodrow Wilson, has seen how his on-court performance impacts the team as they enter the AAA state tournament as the #5 seed.
The Flying Eagles will play Martinsburg at 11:15 AM Thursday in a rematch of the quarterfinals from both 2015 & 2016, with Woodrow Wilson winning each of those meetings.
