Beckley, WV (WOAY) – Greater Beckley Christian senior Brett Riffe signed a letter of intent Friday to play baseball at Bluefield College.
Riffe is a four-year veteran for the Crusaders, who are preparing for next week’s Class A Region 3 finals with Charleston Catholic. He’ll join a Rams team that is also currently in the postseason; they’re headed to the NCCAA World Series next week.
He says the chance to stay close to home played a big factor in his decision, along with Bluefield College’s Christian-based environment. Riffe is considering majoring in business.
