Oak Hill, WV (WOAY) – Sectional play at Oak Hill continued Tuesday with four teams looking to claim two of the regional spots next week.
Undefeated Fayetteville moved to 22-0 with a 68-38 win against Richwood. The Pirates – the only team in the section with a first-round bye – had multiple players score 12 points, including Will Fenton, Darrick McDowell, Marcus Lively, and Gabe Mack.
Valley, behind 20 points and six rebounds from Spencer Dean, won 67-54 against Charleston Catholic. Dondre Davis contributed 18 points and seven points, while Nick Gipson had 13 points.
The Pirates and Greyhounds will play each other at Oak Hill for the sectional title Thursday. Fayetteville won both regular season meetings.
