Beckley Qdoba To Honor First Responders & Military With Free Food & Fun

BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – A local restaurant is gearing up to honor and thank first responders and military.

On June 23rd the Qdoba restaurant in Beckley is giving back to first responders and military officials with a free entree and drink.

The term “first responder” is applied to many different professions, including police officers, firefighters, and paramedics. Despite differences in titles and duties, all first responders have one thing in common-they are first on the scene after an accident, natural disaster or other emergencies.

In the parking lot of Qdoba in Beckley, there will be lots of family fun from inflatables, face painting, a helicopter and more!

General Manager Melissa Cook says this is just one way to say thank you.

“They are in here all the time, they support our business, never mind the fact they put their lives on the line for us every single day to make sure they take care of our families”.  “It’s really important to make sure they know we appreciate their hard work,” said Melissa Cook, General Manager of Qdoba.

Cooks goes on to say, they are trying to make this a yearly event.
