Beckley Area Businesses to Host “Enchanted Prom Night” for Individuals With Special Needs

BECKLEY, WV (WOAY)- Chick-fil-A Beckley is helping to spearhead an event for individuals ages 13 and over who have special needs.

 

The Enchanted Prom Night will be Friday, August 24, 2018, at The Place at United Methodist Temple, 201 Templeview Drive, Beckley, WV.

The evening will be full of fun and dancing. Guests will have the option to take a limo ride to the red carpet entry and numerous photographers will be on site capturing memories throughout the night.

Refreshments will be available. Parents and caregivers that want to stay will have access to a Date Night Green Room on-site.

 

Numerous local businesses have partnered to host this 3rd annual event including Chick-fil-A 103CIR & Southern Communications, Down with That, Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Jay Roles Florist, Lily & Elyse Photography, The Bake Shoppe, Padrino’s in Beaver, Elevated Media WV, Sam’s Club, Jan-Care, Qdoba, and United Methodist Temple.

Daniella Hankey

Good Morning West Virginia! Daniella Hankey is the Morning and Noon newscast Anchor. Daniella joined Newswatch as a Multi-Media journalist and quickly moved her way up to an Anchor. Before landing in the beautiful Mountain State, Daniella called her home Orlando, Florida. Armed with a major in Communications and Media Studies and a minor in Education, Daniella relocated to further her career. During her time at Stetson, she covered several big stories on and off campus including the June 2016 Pulse Night Club shooting and Hurricane Matthew. She worked as a news anchor and reporter for her college news station and enjoyed an internship in productions at PBS. Her love for journalism started in high school when she was selected as a Bright House Varsity Reporter as well as the school anchor. When Daniella is not working, you can find her exploring West Virginia especially the Greenbrier and engaging with community members. As a morning anchor, Daniella loves putting a smile on viewers faces in the morning and informing them of community events.
