Ashleigh Sexton Signs with Glenville State

Today at Independence High School a local softball player got to fulfill their lifelong dream of playing softball at the next level.

Ashleigh Sexton signed her letter of intent to play softball at Division II, Glenville State. Glenville competes in the MEC and she will be joining Ansted native Makenna Nickel and Fayetteville native Ashley Fridley on the team. Sexton currently holds the record for most homeruns in a season at Independence High School and she’s relieved to have the process come to an end.
