A night of dancing goes toward a great cause

BECKLEY, WV (WOAY)- A night of dancing, food and entertainment took place as six couples battled it off on the dance floor for the seventh annual United Way of Southern West Virginia, “dancing with the stars.”

Cheering filled the Beckley Raleigh County Convention Center as the couples showed off the best dance moves that they have been practicing since April!

Although this is a good time for the community to come together and unwind it also serves another purpose.

“The most important part of this event is that we are raising money for all of the agencies we support and all of the people we’re fighting for in Southern WV. It’s  just great to see everyone come out and have a good time while being able to help the community,” said Michelle Rotellini, Executive Director for United Way of Southern West Virginia.

The winners of the people’s choice was Carolyn Buzbee and Randolph McGraw and Robert Dunlap and Tracy Cullicerto won judges choice.
