New Richmond, WV (WOAY) – A day after the Lady Warriors won in Clear Fork, Wyoming East boys basketball returned to the War Zone Friday to host Clear Fork, with both teams coming off games in Charleston earlier in the week.
Wyoming East got out to an early lead, but Westside would keep the score close throughout the first half. Corey McKinney & Shane Jenkins each had standout performances from three-point range.
After trailing at halftime 27-25, the Renegades gained momentum in the second half, going on to win 65-54, tying the all-time series at 21-21. Jenkins had 26 points for Westside, while McKinney led Wyoming East with 22 points.
