CRAB ORCHARD, WV (WOAY) – A man is in jail after stealing from West Virginia Recycle Core and selling the items.
On December 19, 2017, John Mark Burbach, 38, had stolen 5 catalytic converters from the company he worked for, West Virginia Recycle Core.
Burbach sold the catalytic converters to RJR’s Recycling in Scarbro for 250.00 dollars. They were later returned to the owner of West Virginia Recycle Core.
After several in successful attempts to find him, Burbach was arrested on Tuesday, May 15, 2018.
Burbach is facing breaking and entering, petit larceny, and transferring stolen property in Raleigh County. He will also be charged if obtaining by false pretenses in Fayette County.
He is in the Southern Regional Jail under a 25,000 dollar bond.
