New Richmond, WV (WOAY) – The 2016 football season did not begin easy for Wyoming East, but three wins in their last five games gave the Warriors something positive to look back on entering the offseason.
The 2016 finale saw the Warriors win 57-52 at Liberty, giving the team motivation that 2017 can begin the same way last season ended.
It’s the third year with Donald Jewell in charge, as he is making sure his team recognizes the balance between preparing game-by-game and setting long-term goals. The Warriors are seeking their first playoff appearance since 2014.
