Independence hosted Mount View Saturday as the Patriots looked to pick up a victory in front of their home crowd. Markus Guy and Kyle Saunders keyed a quick start for the Pats, but then Mount View quickly gained momentum behind some big buckets from De’Moni Edwards. The corner three was working early and often for Mount View, but Independence matched them step for step, and in the end, the Patriots earn the 62-59 win.
