March 23, 2018

Employees from news, sales, production, and administration participated in the Senator
Joe Manchin job fair at the Erma Byrd center. Discussed broadcasting career options
with individual job seekers.

WOAY-TV Student Station Tours:

May 22, 2018 – Two meteorologists, the morning anchor, and the company president gave 16 second grade SFDS students a tour of the station and talked to them about different jobs our employees perform and careers in broadcasting.

March 20, 2018 -The morning meteorologist gave 18 MVCS students a tour of the station and talked to them about different jobs our employees perform and careers in broadcasting.

April 12, 2018 -Production manager, Chief Meteorologist, Lead Anchor, and President participated in a career day at a local elementary school. Children asked questions to various station personnel about our roles in the company. Station employees told the children how they can work in broadcasting in their future.

April 12, 2018 – Lead anchor spoke to high school students at Meadow Bridge High School about her career in broadcasting and how they can pursue their own career in broadcasting.

March 24, 2018 – Company President attended a seminar at West Virginia Broadcasters Meeting hosted by Jackson Kelly PLLC, for workplace harassment and EEO certification. Certificate in a file.
