Good Thursday evening, cold air has finally made a return with snow showers in the forecast.  Temperatures overnight will drop into the mid 20’s with breezy northwest winds 10-20mph, with gusts up to 30mph at times.  Snow showers will be on and off throughout the night.  For Friday, expect snow showers to continue throughout the day, there will likely be breaks in the snow and even a peak of sunshine at times. It will not snow all day but expect snow showers to continue like this through Tuesday of next week.  Temperatures will remain in the 30’s for highs and 20’s for overnight lows.  By the time all is said and down by next Tuesday, snow accumulations will be highest in the high elevations. Above 4,000 feet expect 6-8”, between 2,500 feet and 4,000 feet expect 3-6” and in the lowlands except 1-3”.  Not all of this is going to accumulate in one day, this is a 5 day total.
