Sen. Manchin Held Town Hall Meeting At WV State Fair

West Virginia’s United States Senator, Joe Manchin, visited the state fair on Friday.

He held a town hall meeting at the fair, for the public to attend, where he addressed some of the concerns citizens have for the state including the economy, jobs, infrastructure and the states opioid addiction. Before Manchin began the meeting, he announced, all speculations about him going into President Donald Trump’s cabinet as Secretary of Energy is false, and he will continue to stay in the United States Senate.

Another major concern Manchin addressed was fixing healthcare and having a tax policy that works for all Americans, that helps create jobs and opportunities.

After Manchin’s meeting, he answered all questions from the public and said he will be bringing these concerns to Washington, to solve the problems here in West Virginia.
