(BY: JOE TACOPINO, NEW YORK POST) – A “cannibal couple” in Russia reportedly captured up to 30 people before skinning them alive and eating them.

Natalia Baksheeva and her husband, Dmitry Baksheev, also allegedly stuck the human leftovers into jars filled with saline solution and fed the “canned human meat” to others, according to the Washington Post.

The gruesome affair began when someone discovered a phone that contained selfies of a man “posing with a severed hand in his mouth and snapshots of dismembered women and severed heads,” the Moscow Times said.

Police linked the phone to Baksheev and arrested him.

Once in custody, the man admitted that he and his wife had been practicing cannibalism for the past two decades.
