Clear Fork, WV (WOAY) – Weather postponed the girls’ game on Thursday, but the Wyoming County rivalry was renewed in boys basketball on Friday at Westside.
The game was a defensive contest in the first half, with Wyoming East leading 3-0 after the first quarter through a Jon Sims three-pointer. Westside would take the lead 14-11 at halftime, but the Warriors in the second half to win 56-44.
Sims led all scorers with 21 points, while Logan Mullins contributed 13 points. Corey Hatfield scored 10 points for Westside.
