SCARBRO (NEWS RELEASE) — Four individuals were remanded to the Southern Regional Jail last night after the execution of a search warrant in the Scarbro area. Sheriff Mike Fridley and the Central West Virginia Drug Task Force released the following information concerning these arrests:
Following an investigation by the Central West Virginia Drug Task Force into allegations of drug trafficking at a residence located at 2395 Scarbro Road, investigators obtained a search warrant for this residence. This warrant was executed by members of the Central West Virginia Drug Task Force and the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office at approximately 6:00 pm yesterday evening.
During the execution of this search warrant investigators seized large quantities of methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin and marijuana, as well as a semi-automatic handgun. Joshua Gray, age 32, of Scarbro, Juanita Gray, age 36, of Scarbro, Phillip Gray, age 33, of Oak Hill and Kendall Williams, age 33, of Macon, GA were all arrested at the scene. Each of these individuals was charged with three felony counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver. Each was remanded to the Southern Regional Jail pending their arraignment in the Fayette County Magistrate Court later this morning. Based on the investigation by the Central West Virginia Drug Task Force, it is anticipated that additional charges will be filed when this case is presented to the Fayette County Grand Jury for indictment.
