WOAY – The Big 12 released its preseason all-conference team Wednesday, with WVU running back Justin Crawford the lone Mountaineer on the squad.
Crawford is coming off a 2016 season when he led the conference in rushing and was named Newcomer of the Year; he was on the All-Big 12 second team.
Quarterback Will Grier was named the league’s preseason Newcomer of the Year, and will look to make a strong start to his WVU career on September 3rd when the Mountaineers face Virginia Tech at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland.
The Big 12 preseason poll will be released Thursday.
