WOAY-TV has an immediate opening for a part-time Production Assistant / Director Trainee. The schedule is tentatively Friday evening through Sunday evening. You’ll be helping the Production team prepare for and getting newscasts on the air. You’ll also train to be a back-up Director for newscasts. Previous TV experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person. A positive pro-active attitude is necessary for this position.

Ready to get your foot in the door of a TV station and start your career? WOAY has an exciting opportunity for a Multimedia Journalist. Responsibilities include reporting, shooting and editing stories, enterprising story ideas, developing contacts, and other responsibilities as assigned.
This is an ideal entry level on-air position, but you should already be familiar with video cameras and editing gear. A four-year degree and a clean driving record are a must. ENPS and Final Cut Pro experience is a plus.
